Dana Mize& the big m ranch
The other weekend, which in reality was probably 2 months ago, we had a weekend where we weren't committed to do
and for those of you who really know me
That is a personal feat!
I know one of my quirks is that I am constantly over committing myself,
in my mind I guess I am a superhero, that can do it all
OR maybe it is the fact that I don't want to miss out on
of this beautiful life!
We are always doing something on the weekends, so when a weekend comes up with nothing on the agenda we REALLY enjoy them with our family,
At Home, Outside, Gallivanting, Fiddle Fartin', & Moseying around.
If you haven't ever Gallivanted, Fiddle Farted, or Moseyed around...
You should probably try it.
Nothing like a good Gallivantin' Trip
No agenda. Weekend. Together.
What better to do than break out the craft beer and enjoy our current property!
So that is exactly what we did!
We have been so focused lately on moving that we haven't made time to enjoy what we have been blessed with...
which is pretty beautiful to say the least.
Houston and I popped the tops and poured a glass and we set out on a walk.
Houston is drinking a Goose Island Summertime Beer crafted in Chicago
& My mason jar is filled with a Pumpkin Cream Stout
from Lynnwood Brewing Concern crafted in Raleigh, NC.
Let's just get it out in the open, It is hard to admit faults
but we are
Beer Snobs.. ha ha ha
But in all honesty Houston loves the taste of a great craft beer
and I find it fun to taste all of the different beers and am still searching for my favorite.
Houston's favorites consists of:
Kona Orange Top
I can say that I do enjoy craft beer more so than the Butt Light
that Carl & Jake drink like it is Nectar from the Gods!
We just walked and talked, took a swig, talked some more and kept on walking.
We are truly blessed with a beautiful piece of property in a great location.
The sad part is that there isn't enough room for us to grow into a larger family.
The reality is Houston and I are getting married, we want to have kiddos, Kindall will eventually find her hunk of burning love and we will all have our own families.
We want to stay close
because in life Family is really all that you have.
We love our family, I love my in-laws and we want to keep our family together until the Good Lord Above calls us home.
It was nice to escape work, aliments, issues, concerns, and questions even if it was just for a 5 minute walk.
We ended up coming around the back of the property and Kindall & Tammy were outside. So we became little kids again and took turns on the swing set. Kindall is below showing off her goofy skills.
We really enjoyed being engulfed in the outdoors, soaking up the sun on our skin and reveling in the beautiful trees.
It is truly like nothing else!
